Welcome to my website!  This site contains many of my accomplishments in running, as a sport and as a personal goal, as well as information in general about running.  I hope to create an environment where many of us, as runners, can connect and share thoughts.

Running for over 20 years in marathons, multiple interstate runs, and a 2901.6 mile run from coast-to-coast, it is an understatement to say I enjoy the sport of running.  I continue to run and train each week locally in preparation for another long distance run.

And we're preparing for my next run in January 2010.  We will be providing more information soon.  So please stop back to follow our preparation and ultimately my second United States run!

My first run across America was a challenge but one I'm looking forward to repeating.  Running across the country is a goal worth a second try and this time in the reverse direction with a  bit of a change in route.  Much of the scenery will be similar to the first run in 2005 along with the time of year.  The run this time will be equally challenging while still providing a view of the country you can only see if you run across the entire USA.

At anytime please feel free to send me an email with questions or discussion.  As you will read later on the site, I have a varied and significant background as a runner, but I believe by sharing what we each have for experiences and information will just increase our personal enjoyment and that of others as well. Who knows where the next great runner will come from?!
