Well I think the different shoes that I knew I brought for some reason are slowly helping me get better from this very painful arch bruising and swelling. They don't press against the arch and I am feeling better. I ran past my 26 mile marker and ran another 1 1/2 miles!

I want to get my 52 miles back I lost by taking two days off. Terrible shoulder for 22 miles then it was beautiful, smooth and flat. Police were called on me early this morning, he said; Move over in the gravel buddy. I did, but cheated on the road again after I left Paris.

Day 41... 989 5/10 miles. Ran 11 miles short of where we are staying now, Bonham, Texas. |

Well foot feels the same so its not worse and that is a positive sign. Windy and cold 26 miles today finished in Paris, Texas.

It was supposed to snow today and nothing. Busy traffic but a good shoulder for 22 miles. Not much to see today, a long up hill grade that lasted for 3 1/2 miles at the start then was pretty flat.

Ran 962 miles in 40 days. This arch will heal and I will do better. |

Well 25 miles in different shoes today. I did see a little improvement and less pain. Day 39 ..936 miles.

I only stared at my feet all day as not to trip on a rock or step funny on my arch. Cold and windy today, but that's Ok, I just thought about this arch on right foot.

We moved our luxury accommodations from Texarkana ahead to Pairs, Texas. I will finish just past Paris tomorrow, then we will move to cheaper accommodations in Bonham,Texas.
