Well I had no energy today I was glad to see support vehicle today at finish. 26 miles was tough today. They are expecting snow here tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I figured I might get snow in the mountains in New Mexico or Arizona but here?

This has been tough so far much tougher than in 2005. Attacked by dogs three times today and had numerous meetings with not so mean ones. That is a record 3 in a day, no bites and pepper sprayed myself, throat was sore a little while until I ate.

Picked cotton today, now I have really lived. Snow tomorrow might mean short day.

Crossed the Mighty Mississippi River today and into Arkansas.
New bridge 1/2 mile away is almost ready but I was glad to run on old one before they tear it down.
26 more miles towards California. It is good to hit Arkansas and Mississippi has been a good state, I liked it. Thank You Mississippi for sharing your road with me.
A nice reporter named Daryl Bell wrote a great article on my Run Across America, from Greenville, Mississippi. He is the first reporter to have the story out before I hit town! This way people can see me before I am long gone. Good job Daryl Bell.

Well, no cell service much of today, ran 27 6/10 miles before I could call for pickup. Strong head winds and no shoulder, but leg felt better than in 10 days when I hurt it, I have run 260 miles in pain. Tomorrow at about 21 miles I will cross the Mississippi River Bridge for the second time in life it will be a happy time for me.
I made a mistake on yesterdays post, I finished today by the Kermit the Frog birth place. We took pictures of Kermit yesterday because tomorrow I will start there in the dark and would not get a picture, sorry for mix up.
Ran through 4 states in less than a month I am happy with that even by my tough standards. No pictures today hope to have some tomorrow crossing Mississippi River.
