Pictures of Bruce

Bruce has accomplished a lot in his life. He has run all over the United States. Along the way, many pictures were taken of him on his runs.

Island training in 90 degree temperature will help Bruce
cross the Mojave Desert in his run across the United States.

The road seems very long sometimes. And the pavement will
make you pay toll for every step for the right to cross it.

Overlooking Coral Bay in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands,
Bruce trains in the steep mountains preparing
for the United States run.

During this run, markers were left at 20 mile marks. Here
Bruce ends a long day of running during his crossing
the state of Wisconsin. Markers also helped Bruce
know where to stop after a long day.

Run across Montana are what the bright yellow shirts that
were worn to alert drivers, and to let them know exactly
what Bruce was doing at all times.

Overcoming breaking his back and coming out of a body cast,
one of Bruce's first runs was carrying the Olympic torch
during the 100th anniversary in Chicago.

Crossing the finish line in the New York City marathon.

Running with thirty thousand people. Crossing the finish line
 in the Honolulu marathon.

Bruce is about to begin his run across the Rocky Mountains
and over the Continental Divide in the state of Montana.

More mountain training in the Virgin Island heat. Sometimes
you just have to stop; says the mountain.
