Day 53 - Run Has Stopped, But Not the Cause |

Bruce is on injured reserve physically but is still dedicated to the cause. He plans on attending the annual auction for the Community Crisis Center on March 13th in St. Charles, IL.

It is on Saturday, March 13th at 5:30 pm at the Q Center, 1405 5th Ave. (Route 25) in St. Charles, IL.
At $100 each, the tickets aren't cheap. However, first-time attendees can get their tickets for just $80.
Some of the auction highlights include a copy of new Stephen King book autographed by the author, a swag bag from the set of the upcoming Ashton Kutcher movie "Killers," and a baseball autographed by Lou Piniella.

Day 52 - The Pain is Too Much |

My run has failed. I can not go on with this Arch/ankle pain. I wasn't letting on to how much pain I was really in. I feel I am doing damage to myself in the long run because its not healing. I am sorry I have let down people who have supported me on this run. There is nothing anyone can say at this point, I just need time to recover in my mind, and body. Day 52.. 1158 5/10 miles. |

Nice day, nice shoulder to cry on and 25 miles closer to California.
Ran through Wichita Falls and past, ran just past Holiday, Texas today. Ran 1155 5/10 miles so far Day 51.
Not much to see just a nice shoulder and some days that's good enough. |

Day 50..... 1130 5/10 miles. Tough day!! Was there a Miracle Today? We will see, "I Hope So!"
Ran 20 miles today and was glad to get it. Running through busy Wichita Falls tomorrow. I have to run with traffic at my back for 3 1/2 miles tomorrow on and off ramps. But, I liked Wichita Falls easy to get around and had everything we needed. It was a good host.

Well Day 49 ran only 10 miles today and it seems like days off did nothing but waste time. Ankle swelled at 6 miles. So I have to keep trying new things different supports, breaks between 5 mile marks, Ice down on roadside halfway. Just have to keep trying different things until something works.
Day 49... 1110 5/10 miles.
Dead skunk reminded me it would really stink if we don't get more donations.
